PAYMENT POLICY
Version 1.0 | Effective October 2026
First Move HQ is committed to providing a transparent, professional, and fair experience.
This policy explains how payments, cancellations, and refunds are handled for First Move HQ services, including the First Move Blueprint™.
1. PAYMENT
Payment must be successfully completed before First Move HQ begins work on a purchased service unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
2. WHEN WORK BEGINS
For purposes of this policy, work begins when First Move HQ begins research related to the customer's Blueprint or requested service.
Research may include reviewing the customer's existing digital presence, business information, domain options, websites, search visibility, social platforms, competitors, branding, or other information necessary to complete the purchased service.
3. CANCELLATION BEFORE WORK BEGINS
A customer may request cancellation before research has begun.
If no research or other service work has started, the customer is eligible for a full refund of the amount paid to First Move HQ, excluding any non-refundable third-party costs that may already have been incurred with the customer's authorization.
4. CANCELLATION AFTER WORK BEGINS
Once research has begun, a full refund is no longer automatically available.
If a customer requests cancellation after work has begun, First Move HQ will review the amount of work already completed and any costs already incurred.
When appropriate, a partial refund may be issued for the portion of the service that has not yet been completed.
First Move HQ may retain payment reasonably associated with work already performed and any applicable non-refundable third-party expenses.
Our goal is to handle these situations fairly based on the actual work completed rather than applying an arbitrary cancellation percentage.
5. COMPLETED & DELIVERED SERVICES
Once the agreed-upon service or final deliverable has been completed and delivered, payments are generally non-refundable.
If a customer believes there is an error, missing item, or legitimate problem with the delivered service, we encourage them to contact First Move HQ. We will review the concern and, when appropriate, work to correct issues within the agreed scope of service.
6. THIRD-PARTY COSTS
Certain First Move HQ services may involve purchases or fees charged by third parties, including domains, registrations, subscriptions, software, platforms, or similar services.
Once a third-party cost has been incurred, that amount is generally non-refundable through First Move HQ unless the applicable third-party provider issues a refund.
Any approved refund from a third-party provider will be handled according to that provider's policies and procedures.
7. DUPLICATE or INCORRECT CHARGES
If a customer believes they were charged more than once, charged an incorrect amount, or experienced another payment error, they should contact First Move HQ as soon as possible.
Verified duplicate or incorrect charges will be corrected appropriately.
8. APPROVED REFUNDS
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method whenever possible.
After First Move HQ processes a refund, customers should generally allow approximately 5–10 days for the refund to appear on their statement. Actual processing time may depend on the customer's bank, card issuer, payment method, or other financial institution.
9. REQUESTING A CANCELLATION or REFUND
Cancellation, refund, and payment-related support requests should be sent to:
Customers should include their name, business name, and enough information for First Move HQ to locate the applicable payment or service request.
10. POLICY UPDATES
First Move HQ may update this policy as our services and business processes evolve.
The version of the policy applicable to a transaction will generally be the version in effect at the time of purchase, unless otherwise required by law or agreed to in writing.
